Ever fancied the idea of driving a different car every six months? Perhaps you are looking for a more flexible service than leasing or contract hire? Designed to offer the benefits of vehicle ownership without the trauma of a purchase, the ECO Lease is ideal for those looking to access a dedicated vehicle for an extended period.

So, whether you are "in-between" cars or are an international contractor working in South Africa for an extended period, ECO Lease is the perfect alternative to financing a vehicle.

Freedom to Choose

Take advantage of the ECO Lease option and benefit from a host of features specially designed with your mid-term rental convenience in mind.

  • Choose your rental period: the ECO Lease is defined as a dedicated rental vehicle provided for a period between 3 and 11 months. (New contracts are offered after 11 months).
  • Choose your own vehicle: as the renter, you have the choice of the make, model and colour of your car from the extensive ECO fleet.
  • Monthly electronic invoicing, if required.
  • Accessories: should you require a tow bar, cycling rack, Bluetooth or even GPS, ECO lease will fit your specified accessory. (Accessories are for the renter's own expense).
  • Vehicles can be rented on either a credit card or single voucher (for account holders).
  • Renters must be over the age of 23 and in possession of an unendorsed driver's licence that has been valid for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Rental terminates in the event of a theft, write-off or if the odometer reaches 35 000 km.
  • Rates are guaranteed for the duration of the rental contract.

As part of the ECO pledge to provide you with a service offering that makes your life easier, ECO Lease customers can benefit from:

  • Preferential pricing.
  • A loan vehicle: in the event of maintenance and/or repairs, ECO Lease will immediately provide a replacement vehicle for the duration. On completion, customers are asked to leave their loan vehicle at the panel beater or workshop for ECO to collect.
  • Each vehicle may have three additional drivers at no extra charge (drivers must hold a licence for more than a year).
  • 3 000 km free per month.
  • Dedicated customer support through the ECO Lease customer support team.
  • Vehicles can be returned at any time, after three months, no extra cost.
  • Customers benefit from ECO Rent a Car's standard support:
    • 24-hour road side assistance
    • Oil
    • Maintenance
    • Windscreen breakages
